One purpose of the CD-ROM is to provide the 3D grey-level reconstructions
and mapped anatomical domains of each embryonic stage for the purpose
of mapping spatial data (e.g. gene-expression patterns) and querying the
gene-expression database (not yet public). The 3D data files are large
and to browse the 3D volume at arbitrary sectioning orientations requires
access to the full reconstruction. This would be very slow over the Internet
therefore we provide the CD-ROM for use on your own machine. A large part
of the CD can however be efficiently accessed directly therefore we provide
an online version of the CD. The only links that cannot be followed are
those that required the actual reconstruction (woolz) files which are
not available online Clicking on one of these links will result in a small
text file being transferred to your computer. If you have a copy
of the CDROM and have set your web browser preferences appropriately then
these links should work.
