Notes:The Fgfr2 probe used in this study by Eswarakumar et al., 2002 [PMID:12135917] is spec ific for the Fgfr2IIIc splice form and was originally described by Orr-Urtreger et al., 1993 [PMID:8393815] as the "bek-specific" probe: a 120 nt PpuMI-EcoRV fragment specific for the bek (exon9) region (see figure 1 therein).
