Results Column: ENTITY DETECTED

• Each row = one EMAGE entry.
  
  
• This column contains a list of all genes, proteins, microRNAs etc whose presence has been assayed in each entry. These are shown as the current Mouse Gene Nomenclature Committee approved symbols.
  
  
• The number shown in the column header denotes the number of gene/protein symbols in the list.
  
  
• The data in the results list can be ordered in either ascending or descending alpha-numerical order of the contents of this column by clicking on the column header title.
  
  
• Genes are displayed in this column in the format Abc1 and proteins as ABC1. For counting purposes (in the column headers), the gene and protein are considered to be different entities.
