Expression of the Sox9 gene

To test the ability to reconstruct gene expression patterns we chose to scan an E11.5 mouse embryo which had been stained for Sox9 expression (using BCIP/NBT). The following movies show the raw data from the transmission scan (left), and the 3-D reconstruction. The first reconstruction movie slices through sagital sections, and the second one through frontal sections.
